A call has gone out from the fair ladies of the girly squad (through the fairer Kirsty):
If we raise £30 for the charity Breast Cancer Haven we can enter a draw to win a GPS cox box for the club. Not many crews have bothered so the odds look pretty good!

Of course it goes without saying that all you lovely rowers will leap upon this opportunity to support the girlies and club straight away with wide open wallets.
Indeed, one gent has already whipped the purse out of his Speedoes at lightning speed to make good his donation.
But, oh no! Upon setting his quid upon the table...
"I tried to donate £1 but said the minimum was £2 - does anybody want to go halves?"
