Treading the hallowed halls of The Pink Club at the weekend, Gurt found CBRC Women's squad behaving like a bunch of giggling excited school girls outside the gym. Whatever could have reduced such dedicated, hardened rowers to a state of near delirium? Of course! The rowing god himself was in the gym.
Result - lots of swooning starstruck Bristol girls and one slightly bemused but lovely James Cracknell!

- The Family Lush hails originally from a cave in the Forest of Dean. Gurt now resides under a bridge near Welsh Back with his lovely wife, Gurtrude. A former member of CBRC in the 1980's, Gurt was often found comparing facial hair with Brian Stevens, and drinking rough cider in The Ostrich. Gurtrude can been seen in photos of late 1970's CBRC womens crews, who were all-conquering on the Tideway. Cousins Reet & Randy have recently been seen paying close attention to female crews in the Prince Street area.

Ms Gregg took it upon herself to ask God for a quick photie whilst he erg'd away. Not sure he bargained for a full photo shoot whilst other ladies posed next to him one by one!
