While strolling through Castle Park yesterday evening I heard some obscenities being shouted from down on the water. Upon closer inspection I saw the familiar site of an inactive lauch with it's operator desperately trying to start the motor. He methodically ran through the usual procedure for firing up the outboard but to no avail. Luckily Mr. Bathurst was nearby and was able to assist by informing the lauch driver that step 1a in starting any kind of motor is to ensure that the fuel line is connected.
It's a good job his coaching technique is better than his mechanical skills!
