Winning in Wales

Not quite a record breaking weekend’s winnings but close as CBRC brought a total of 38 pots back to England from Llandaff.

The roll of honour:
Men’s Novice Four
Womens S2 Eight – Saturday and Sunday
Hall and Specht S3 Pair
Mixed S3 Eight
Men’s S3 Eight composite with Cardiff City

Particular congratulations to the Novice 4 as some of the crew have been looking for that first win since they started rowing in 1984.

gurt, i'm shocked. you have omitted to count the pots won by the most important members of the crews - the cox'ns!!!

Too right... That was my hardest won coxing pot ever!

Jimmy you only won half the half-pint pot.

I think you'll find that my mathematics is correct on this occasion. The Bristol/Cardiff 8 only contained 4 Bristol rowers so contributes 4 pots to the total. Add this to 3 8's with 9 pots each, a coxed four with 5 pots and a pair with 2 pots and you reach a total of 38 pots as reported.

Why only half the half pint?!? I think you will find it is a full half pint.

And if the original cox can't turn up for the important race, then that's not my fault!

From our own website:

Pot total: 96 (Women: 79, Men: 17)

Come on guys - what are you going to do about it? Start competing?

It's all about quality not quantity.
