On Saturday CBRC's official photographic team were poised and ready on Hammersmith bridge to capture the shot that would show the club's finest oarsmen in action. The resulting photo really is something that David Bailey would be proud of:

The first boat dropping a few places to 161 from 112 (19:36:86) while the second boat made up a few going from 302 to 276 in 20:27:63 - a creditable performance all round.
What does starting position have to do with anything? That's just a reflection on the previous year's crew.
...so we're comparing last year's efforts with this year's. Fair?
